Kumasi-Based Armed Robber Sentenced to Life Imprisonment Plus 120 Years for Murder and Robbery.

 

Notorious Kumasi based armed robber, 36-year old Dominic Afriyie, also known as GH, sentenced to 120 years in prison with hard labour for two counts of armed robbery and life imprisonment for murder. 


The conviction comes years after his arrest for his involvement in an attack on a 43-year-old pharmacist and building contractor, Mr. Michael Dela Agbo Klu in Atasemanso, Kumasi on 20th November 2021.

During the robbery, the brazen thief made away two mobile phones, an ASUS Zenbook laptop, and a cash amount of GH¢1,500 before tragically shooting and killing the homeowner, Mr Klu. 

He was subsequently nabbed in another foiled robbery attempt on 31st December 2021, at about 2:20am with three others in the Atasemanso area.
