Born and raised in Lagos, Obama DMW, earned a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Lagos State University before heading to Canada. On his return, he co-founded a recorded label, Holla At Your Boy, with his friend. The label, however, folded up after the death of his partner. Being a Muslim, his corpse has been deposited in the mortuary shortly after his death and expected to be buried today, June 30.

  A group calling itself Asante Force has closed down the Bantama branch of Lighthouse Chapel. The closedown came after the group asked that the founder of the Church Bishop Dag Heward Mills made some comments about the Asantehene. Bishop Dag Heward-Mills in a letter addressed to the Asantehene revealed that the leaked audio was from 23 years ago and not current as being claimed by some people. Despite his earlier apology, it was described as an insult and hence rejected by Manhyia Palace stating that what they require from the preacher is to make an appearance at the palace and verbally apologize to the Asantehene. On the closure of the church, the group has revealed that they would continue closing down Lighthouse Churches in the region until Manhyia finally accepts the apology from Dag Heward-Mills.   The Police in Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region has arrested a 22-year-old robbery suspect who broke into a Melcom shop at Amasaman with three other accomplices in an attempt to ransack the shopping mall. The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, June 29, 2021. The suspect, Richard Esifiri, attempted to evade arrest by jumping from the first floor of the shopping mall to the ground. He sustained injuries to his left hand and right leg. He was arrested and sent to the hospital for treatment and is currently on admission. The three other accomplices are currently on the run and efforts are underway to get them arrested. Afropop artiste KiDi has expressed his disappointment in some Christians who have mocked him since losing out on the Artiste of the Year award to Gospel artiste Diana Hamilton. Hamilton was adjudged the overall best artist at the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) after beating KiDi and other competitors in the category.   Two people have been picked up by the Ghana Police Service in the Ashanti Region in connection to the death of #Fixthecountry campaigner Ibrahim Muhammed popularly known as Kaaka. Kaaka who hails from Ejura in the Ashanti Region and a strong advocate for #Fixthecountry was ambushed by some people last Saturday and beaten to the pulp last Saturday.   The Police have arrested four suspects believed to have been involved in the bullion van robbery attack at James Town in Accra which resulted in the murder of a police man and a mother-of-two. The suspects are Collins Addae aka Kekye from Akim-Swedru; Ebenezer Gyimah, aka Peace and Musa Kamara, 26; with his brother Suleman Ketah, 26 years old alias 69, both from Guinea. They are said to be on Police wanted list. According to a report by Daily Guide, the police had received information that the suspects were hiding in Kyebi in the Eastern Region after they declared them wanted following the robbery incident. The suspects were subsequently apprehended at their hideouts at a mining site upon information gathered by the CID Headquarters in Accra. The deceased identified as Francis Chibuike was allegedly high on drugs when the unfortunate incident happened.   Binance, the world's biggest crypto-currency exchange, has been banned by the UK. The UK's financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has ruled that the firm cannot conduct any "regulated activity" in the UK. It also issued a consumer warning about Binance, advising people to be wary of adverts promising high returns on cryptoasset investments.   The regulator also stressed that no entity in the Binance Group holds any form of authorisation, registration or licence to conduct regulated activity in the UK. Binance, in response has said the FCA notice would have no "direct impact" on the services it provides from its website. Binance's existing crypto exchange is not UK-based so despite the FCA ruling, there will be no impact on British residents who use the website to purchase and sell crypto-currencies.   The Ghana Police Service has started a serious search for the main suspect in the Korle-bu bullion van attack that led to the death of Constable Emmanuel Osei. This comes after an Accra circuit court issued a warrant for the arrest of one Hakeem popularly known as Red devil.
