Black Sherif lands first international show in Portugal

'Kwaku The Traveller' is set to travel across continental borders for the first time following the fast growth of his career in recent times. Pulse.com.gh has gathered that the 20-year-old Ghanaian music sensation has been booked to perform at a show in Portugal. Black Sherif has been named among international music stars like Chris Brown, Meghan Thee Stallion, Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid among others to perform at the next Afronation event scheduled to happen this summer. Momo Agents To Meet President Akuffo Addo On 1st May

The Ghanaian Mobile Money Agents Association has stated that they will meet with President Nana Akufo-Addo in May to discuss the contentious Electronic Transfer Levy (E-Levy). According to Dela Dunstan Abotsi, the Association’s President, the meeting with the president would address some of their worries about the E-Levy, which will begin on May 1. “Because the president has invited us to meet with him next month, we are unable to make any decisions until we meet with him.” We don’t want to make any mistakes that we will regret later. Kelvynboy Attacked By Students From UCC

After a concert, some University of Cape Coast students allegedly attacked Ghanaian Afrobeat singer Kelvin Brown, also known as Kelvynboy. According to reports, the singer was scheduled to play at the 60th anniversary celebration of the school and also at the University for Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). In order to get back to Accra in time for his concert at UPSA, singer intended to finish his set on the UCC campus at 8pm on Saturday night, says eyewitness. As a result, a group of students at UCC erected a barrier around the singer’s vehicle in order to prevent him from leaving the school grounds in order to perform at another school. Some 6,000 students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s 85,000 population are to defer their courses for their inability to pay their schools fees in full. The university announced that students who owe more than 70 per cent of their school fees were to automatically defer their courses by 7 April 2022. Despite the affected students having been allowed to sit their mid-semester exam which started on 11 April 2022, those who still had not paid up after the first exam week were forced to defer their courses. The University Relations Officer, Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe, said on Wednesday, 20 April that there was the need to “apply the fees policy this year which has been approved by the academic board and it is required that as an undergraduate student you must register your courses at the beginning of the semester and pay 70%.” Despite a three-month window February to April for students to fully pay up their arrears, Dr. Bekoe said: “A number of students are playing ...
