Tensions Rise as Shatta Wale Warns Richard Quaye Over Alleged Plots.

 


Award-winning artist, Shatta Wale has taken to social media to issue a strong warning to Richard Nii Armah Quaye over undisclosed tensions brewing between them. 


In a Snapchat and Facebook posts dated on April 27, 2025, the singer threatened Richard Quaye to cease whatever actions he is allegedly plotting against him.

The rationale behind his posts is unclear, but Wale maintains that he is deliberately avoiding any major conflict for the time being, but has hinted at future action once certain upcoming shows were over. 


With this, many people have linked Shatta Wale’s statement to his recent omission from the business mogul’s 40th birthday celebration held in March.

Shatta Wale was reportedly invited to the event as one of the guest performing artists, but he did not show up.


Speculation suggests that his absence was due to organisational challenges, personal disagreements , or external factors.

Mr. Rich Quaye later came out to deny paying the artists who performed, contrary to earlier reports.


However, Shatta Wale’s warning to Richard Quaye indicates how the dancehall musician is willing to share his side of the tale in order to clear his name. 

Shatta Wale believes he will respond firmly to expose Richard Nii Armah Quaye’s attempt to marginalise him over the event snub or reputational tactics will fail if provoked.
