Police arrest street robber at Abokobi

One Alfred Asare has been arrested by Police in Adenta for attacking and snatching the handbag of two persons (names withheld) containing a Samsung tablet and some cash in Abokobi a suburb of Accra at about 7:05 am on 9th July 2021.

In a statement, the Police on Wednesday, July 14, said the Samsung tablet, a kitchen knife and some blood-stained cash were retrieved from the suspect during the arrest.

6 Aggrey Memorial Students Arrested For Assaulting Adisadel Student.

  The Ghana Police Service in the Central Region has arrested six juvenile suspects in connection with the alleged assault of a student of Adisadel College in Cape Coast. According to a press release issued by the Central Regional Police Command, the suspects, all students of Aggrey Memorial Senior High School, were handed over to the Kotokuraba Police Station by their school authorities on 20 February 2026 at about 7:30 p.m. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on the same day, following the inter-colleges sports festival at the Cape Coast Stadium.
