{PHOTOS} Newly constructed road in the Western Region cracks down

A stretch of road has broken down completely in the Western Region of Ghana.

A section of the road between Aiyinase and Menzezor in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region.

According to a source, this newly constructed road reportedly caved in last Friday, July 16th 2021 when some road users were busily plying the road.

From the photos we’ve sighted, it feels like an earth tremor occurred around that area but we are informed that isn’t the case as nothing of that sort happened there.

6 Aggrey Memorial Students Arrested For Assaulting Adisadel Student.

  The Ghana Police Service in the Central Region has arrested six juvenile suspects in connection with the alleged assault of a student of Adisadel College in Cape Coast. According to a press release issued by the Central Regional Police Command, the suspects, all students of Aggrey Memorial Senior High School, were handed over to the Kotokuraba Police Station by their school authorities on 20 February 2026 at about 7:30 p.m. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on the same day, following the inter-colleges sports festival at the Cape Coast Stadium. The victim, identified as Rexford Owusu-Ansah, a final-year student of Adisadel College, was reportedly attacked near Pedu Junction while returning to campus with two friends.
