Celestine Donkor, Wendy Shay, Kofi Sarpong, Dope Nation & others to perform at GMA UK launch

Organizers of Ghana Music Awards UK have released the first list of musicians who will be performing at the big launch of the awards today, 23rd July at the La Palm Beach Hotel.

The launch which is strictly by invitation is expected to attract top personalities and celebrities.

On the official social media pages of the award scheme, the first list of those expected to perform include Wendy Shay, SP Kofi Sarpong, Dope Nation, Celestine Donkor, and others.

The Organizers have promised to add more to the list and also treat patrons to some surprises which will not be made public for now.

This year marks the 5th edition of the awards scheme and it will be held in the UK on 9th October and it is expected to attract a large number of Ghanaian music stakeholders which include artists and their managers as well as international artists from some selected countries.

6 Aggrey Memorial Students Arrested For Assaulting Adisadel Student.

  The Ghana Police Service in the Central Region has arrested six juvenile suspects in connection with the alleged assault of a student of Adisadel College in Cape Coast. According to a press release issued by the Central Regional Police Command, the suspects, all students of Aggrey Memorial Senior High School, were handed over to the Kotokuraba Police Station by their school authorities on 20 February 2026 at about 7:30 p.m. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on the same day, following the inter-colleges sports festival at the Cape Coast Stadium.
